2 steps forward, 1 step back - Founders Update #41

No, we haven’t been on vacation, sipping pina coladas in the Bahamas 🍹
Instead we’ve been in and out of quarantine (Australia and Argentina respectively) heads down on design & implementation of the all-new GoalsWon.
The good news is that it’s coming along great, in fact we should have the new mobile app released soon - possibly as early as a few weeks from now.
It’s a significant upgrade, it contains all the current features and a bunch more, and also should be a lot faster and more reliable to use. The backend interface used by our coaches has also been revamped, which will make coaching a lot more streamlined and lets us pull more relevant info faster - the current version is to put it mildly, a “lagfest” so this is eagerly anticipated by us.
Joel and I are going to switch to the new version as our “daily driver” starting next week, will let you know how that goes!
So good news on that front.
The not so good news for this week was our recent 2 day outage on iOS due to an expired app version.
It was our fault that we forgot to set a reminder, normally we update the app often and never have to worry about it, but during this rebuild we hit the limit. Big sorry to our clients, Apple finally approved the new version and relieved to be back up and running again with you all 🙇🏻♂️
