Introducing Year Targets

Such a great quote with a deep truth - if you don't have your north star, it's easy to get lost in the day to day.

We're starting a big push for new features at GoalsWon, and the first is year targets!

Year Targets

Our coaches provides daily accountability at the core, and we have always had the ability to set monthly targets.

But what about those big picture goals and life changes to accomplish, over a longer period of time?

Well, we're stoked to introduce Year Targets, a new feature that's rolling out now.

Now when you go to the Targets screen, you'll notice a new tab:

From here, you can create a year target, then assign monthly targets to it.

For example, one of my personal year targets is to reach 200 pro-bono accounts donated to non profits.

I can open up a monthly target and assign it to the year target.

That way, I can map out the steps to get to this bigger goal, and have that sense of progress along the way:

And back to the day to day, I can see a handy reminder in the Goals screen of which monthly targets are in service to these bigger objectives:

Now no more forgetting the "why" for all those day to day and month to month tasks - and habits!

And your coach (in my case, my co-founder Joel) can work with you on the plans and progress toward them, both in the app each day and on the regular video calls.
